Description
Racecadotril is the first truly intestinal antisecretory drug to gain approval for treatment of diarrhea. The drug is available as 100 mg capsules and 10, 15 and 30 mg sachets. The recommended dosage is 100 mg three times a day for adults and 1.5 mg/kg three times a day for children.
